Here is the scoop.
Two Minute Profits outlines an adwords system that lets you hone in on extremely small niches - 100 clicks or less per month and make a decent profit on really cheap Cost Per Click amounts.
I can't say too much without giving away the farm - it wouldn't be fair to the author and besides he said he would sue the hell out of me if I revealed it all.
This is what I can tell you. He uses a little trick to capture people looking for very specific info - actually products. If you follow his instructions you will set up adwords campaigns at about 2 cents per click on Google search pages that will have no other adword competitors and no relevant search results either. This will enable you to capture a very high click through rate as your ad will be the only relevant thing on the search page or SERP's. Keep in mind that you may only get a few hundred or less clicks a month because you are only targeting a very specific product. The nice thing is that a lot of those clicks will turn into sales of the product because only people looking to buy the product will ever run the search that you have targeted.
This is a variation of campaigns that target misspellings but the campaign hones in on something other than misspelled keywords. It is not just a rehash of misspelling campaigns which are widely known and extremely competitive nowadays.
He uses real examples of campaigns that he has used but cautions people not to copy him as everyone who has bought his book has done this already and now his examples are ripe with competition.
He does explain how to find new targets and in reality the list of targets is huge so that you should be able to find enough that have zero competition.
I have started a couple of campaigns just to test out his system - too early to give any results but I will post them as I get them - or lack thereof. I wasn't going to mention this at all as it really is a gimmicky little system but I figured a few of you might be like me and enjoy finding "tricks" every now and then. If you are into things like this then give it a try - it's under $10 so what the heck. I figure if I don't succeed then I'm out a lunch.
You don't need a website or blog - this is strictly adwords related and you will be sending traffic to vendors who pay you a commission. He claims to spend about $4-$5 a month on PPC per campaign and gets a return in sales of about $400 a month. This seems suspicious but if it does work then it's a nice little money maker. I will let you know how my campaigns turns out.
Note: I only found 1 decent review of this product and the reviewer mentions that he has had trouble finding workable targets to bid on - discouraging but I found 2 that I think (hope) will work - maybe I'm a little cleverer than the reviewer or maybe not - I will let you know.
If you are interested the link is below and beware that he will try and upsell you other more expensive products while you are trying to buy this one. Alas this has become the new marketing strategy - give away a product for $7 and try and hook the buyer with a "One Time Only" pitch before he/she can download his/her purchase. I didn't bite but if you do please let me know what you think of his other products.
Nuff' said,

UPDATE; June 11, 2007
Ok, I have been playing around with this and come to these results.
I am betting this system worked like a charm when it was first envisioned but like most "gimmicky" systems it loses it's effectiveness fast once too many people start using it.
First off, finding targets suitable for this to work is hard - most already have competition or have so few searches that they are a waste of time. I am working on 5 targets that I was able to come up with but I did use Brainstorm Generator to accomplish this. Only 1 keyword has produced any results but only 1 sale in 232 clicks - PPC cost is 4 cents not 2 as advertised. I've spent about $10 on the adwords campaign and the 1 sale made $44.
The remaining 4 campaigns have garnered about 300 clicks total and no sales - PPC cost of approx. $12.
If not for the one sale I would be in the hole about $22 right now. I am going to stop the 4 campaigns and let the first one run a bit longer. If it makes another sale before reaching $43 in ad costs I'll keep it running.
My summation - Does this work?
Technically yes but I don't recommend it unless you have the time and knowledge to find the target keywords. A couple of hints - don't just think in terms of American Companies or products... or English for that matter. The campaign that made me the sale is a two word European Brand Name. To make this work you will really have to think outside of the box - use local brand names rather than well known products.
Ultimately I would say "stay away" unless you are up for a challenge and even then you wont make much unless you just get lucky.
Note; The author has been sending free downloads for various ebooks since I bought "Two Minute Profits". So far he has given me "$7 Secrets" and "Google Adwords Made Easy" and promises more to come - I suppose this is to make up for the $10 he charged me - too bad I already bought both those ebooks some time ago.
That's it for now,
Grizzly
Sept 2007 Update;
Several of you have been keeping in touch with me over this system and like me you are all die hards who have persisted and are now making a few bucks with this. At present I have 7 campaigns going - all making a small but tidy profit and I must say that I actually like this system. Yes it does take some work finding the right products but having said that I do like the steady stream of money coming my way without me having to do another thing since setting them up. This is true autopilot money and while I won't get rich off of it ( I suppose I could spend a hell of a lot more time on it but that would be like work ) it is generating a decent profit. Considering this little method cost less than 10 bucks I will have to be fair and give it a thumbs up as it has returned far more than the purchase price. Those of you using this system please keep me informed.
Thanks,
Grizzly
